Undergraduate Admissions

Claudia Cohen Office of Admissions, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia PA

University of Pennsylvania’s Admissions department recently unveiled their new undergraduate admissions office at 3535 Market St, Philadelphia. The design is an amalgamation of open cubicles, meeting rooms and private offices, with modern finishes and infrastructure.

This project was a complete renovation, including all new mechanical, plumbing & electrical systems as well as state of the art finishes. Acoustical cloud ceilings accent the open office design while operable partitions provide flexibility to divide these spaces.

Completed during the summer of 2020, the project faced additional challenges due to the pandemic. Flatiron Building Company navigated through complicated logistics, increased material lead times and onsite manpower restrictions, while ensuring utmost safety.

Testimonials

“Choosing Flatiron as the general contractor for our recently completed office fit-out project resulted in a very successful partnership and end product, despite the obstacles encountered from the current COVID-19 pandemic. The Flatiron team worked diligently every step of the way, to make sure our project goals were met, our schedule was reasonably kept, and our budget was maintained. Our whole Penn team was delighted with the office space that Flatiron delivered. We look forward to more opportunities to work with Flatiron in the future.”
