Flatiron has completed multiple projects for Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center, including all of the facility’s exhibit construction.

The three-part project to create a new multi-use conference center within a former exterior balcony included matching the building’s existing curtain wall window system in the new space; building a conference room with high-end granite and wood finishes, sophisticated audio-visual equipment, and a small catering kitchen; and construction of a new radius stair and elevator lobby overlooking the main hall. Flatiron craftsmen built and installed all of the custom maple woodwork and paneling in the Bogle Room to match the quality and grain of wood used throughout the building. Infrastructure improvements included a new electrical distribution from the sub- basement and a new mechanical unit on the roof.
