Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation

Navy Yard, Philadelphia, PA

Flatiron renovated the former single-tenant Commandant’s Building at the Navy Yard to accommodate up to six separate tenants. One of the spaces was fit out for Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, the city-wide economic development corporation.

The tenant improvement project included new millwork, aluminum door and wall systems, and interior finishes. Glass curtain walls were carefully extended up through the building joists for a seamless appearance. The MEP portion of the project included ductwork, HVAC equipment, lighting fixtures, switches and receptacles, and modi cations to the sprinkler system.

Flatiron also performed tenant fit-out renovations for another tenant, Team Clean, in another part of the building.
