PNC Bank – 1600 Market Street

PNC Bank – 1600 Market Street, Philadelphia

PNC Bank’s flagship branch at 1600 Market Street occupies over 6,000 SF on the ground floor of a high-rise in Center City Philadelphia. In 2019 PNC selected Flatiron Building Company to complete the interior and exterior renovations of this branch, planned as a corporate prototype for their future renovations in the region.

The bank abuts one of the busiest corners in the city. We modified the building’s curtainwall, creating a new entrance to 16th Street. Customers now have access to secure after-hours banking within an elegant glass vestibule. The interior is highlighted by intricate glass partitions, wall panels and solid surface millwork. The end product is an open and inviting flagship branch bank.

We completed the project off-hours and in multiple phases in order to maintain PNC’s day-to-day banking operations. This effort was successful due to extensive teamwork, coordination and planning.
