Continuing Salus’ vision, the Clinical Skills Laboratory is the second major renovation, at the Elkins Park campus, completed by Flatiron. The laboratory provides a state of the art teaching facility within an engaging and well-lit environment facilitating the University’s mission of advancing integrated healthcare through innovative education, research and clinical services.

A virtual reality simulation lab and 32 instructional optometry stations give the students real world experience in a classroom setting.

Given our clients’ need to have this facility operational as quickly as possible, Flatiron, working in cooperation with Salus and the design professionals, overcame equipment and material delivery hurdles with flexible scheduling, just in time fabrication, and creative installation techniques to finish this complex multi-faceted project ahead of schedule.
